2023-2024 Officer Board

President

Carter Hooten is a junior studying Human Biology on the pre-med track. Growing up in the skiing community, Carter learned to ski at two years old and is our resident jump expert. When he's not skiing, Carter likes to conduct research and play pickleball. 

Vice President

Dylan Hammerbeck is a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He learned to waterski when he joined the team during his freshman year and worked his way up to become a certified boat driver and vice president two years in a row. Dylan will be vice president in the Fall of 2024. 

Vice President 

Aaron Radloff is a junior studying Exercise Science on the pre-med track. He learned to slalom during his freshman year. Last year, Aaron was a lake coordinator and became one of our certified boat drivers. Aaron will be vice president in the Spring of 2023. 

Captain

Konstantinos Arcadis is a junior majoring in Mathematics and Economics from Athens, Greece. He skied at his first national competition when he was eight years old. Since then, he's been actively competing in domestic and international tournaments. If Konstantinos is not skiing, he's either running or sleeping. 

Treasurer

Rob Kasten is a Masters Student in the Mechanical Engineering department. Before attending UT, he skied for four years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rob has been skiing recreationally since he was ten and began three-event skiing freshman year at Madison. Rob is also an avid snow skier and spends his breaks out west working. 

Social

Emma deGarbolewski is a sophomore majoring in Environmental Engineering with a focus on water treatment. She learned the basics of skiing as a child, but we have seen a major improvement in her time on the team. Emma bought her own ski last year, which she took home with her to ski on the Chesapeake Bay. 

Secretary

Lauren Hightower is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track. Last year, she became a sports reporter for the Daily Texan and learned to slalom for the first time. As the person who wrote this bio, feel free to ask her any questions you have about the team!

Lake Coordinator

Thomas Watson is a freshman studying Mechanical Engineering. Thomas has been skiing since he was eight years old, but he never skied competitively before joining the team. Thomas is excited for next season and is looking forward to getting started at Lake Coordinator. 

Lake Coordinator

Caroline Ewald is a freshman who is currently Undecided but is looking to major in Advertising. Caroline grew up show skiing and has over 15 years of skiing experience. She's been in pyramids and even brought her swivel ski out to Fall Classic.
