Leadership

Ethan Carrillo is a sophomore computational biology major straight from Amarillo, Texas. He skipped two skis and went straight to slalom, ready to start competing. Since joining the team last semester, Ethan has been heavily involved and went to every tournament in the fall. 

Austin Ellis is a sophomore engineering major who joined just last semester.  Austin went straight from new member to vice president and is looking forward to helping the team in any way he can.

Michaela Jenkins is a junior Informatics student who recently transferred from the University of Vermont. She has been slalom skiing since the age of six and competed in show skiing for several years, but college is her first time competing in three-event skiing. Michaela loves to spend her free time climbing and with friends!

John Cooper is a sophomore majoring in marketing from Corpus Christi, TX. He joined the UT water ski team in the spring semester of his freshman year and has been learning everything he can about water skiing since. 

Jon Stephenson is a junior majoring in environmental science from Midlothian, Tx. He began skiing just last semester but has already grown very passionate about the sport and this team. Outside of ski, Jon loves to spend his time outdoors and with friends. 

Thea DeBellis is a freshman exercise science major who is on the pre physical therapy track. The has been skiing since she was little and was even a director of a show ski team.  Thea's favorite event is trick which she has competed in at nationals.

Charlie Goranson is a sophomore majoring in biology. Charlie joined the team his freshman year and is a dedicated member. When Charlie isn't skiing he's either working in the lab or spending time outdoors.

Lizzie Hillman is a sophomore Public Relations major from Irving, TX. She’s grown up boating on lakes across the country, and joined the team last spring. Outside of skiing and school, Lizzie loves spending time with her family.
